Fitting Guide for Heat-Moldable Inserts

Important: This general guide applies only to grillz supplied with an adjustable frame and a heat-moldable fitting insert. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the insert's water temperature, heating time, cooling time, and refitting limits; these can vary by material. Do not assume a universal fit.

1. Prepare the frame: If the manufacturer permits adjustment, gently curve the frame to follow your front teeth. Do not force or sharply bend the metal. Adjust retaining prongs only as directed.
2. Position the insert: Place the supplied molding insert in the frame's channel and secure it according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Soften the insert: Use clean, heat-safe tweezers to place the assembly in hot water at the manufacturer's specified temperature for the specified time. Do not use boiling water unless explicitly instructed.
4. Remove and cool safely: Lift the assembly out with tweezers and drain excess water. Allow both the metal and insert to cool to a comfortable, non-burning temperature before placing them in your mouth. Never put a hot piece against your teeth or gums.
5. Fit gently: Using a mirror, position the softened insert over your teeth and apply gentle, even pressure as directed. Do not bite hard or force the piece into position.
6. Allow it to set: Hold it in position for the manufacturer's recommended setting time. Remove it if it causes pain, pressure, or irritation.

Need to refit? Reheat and repeat only if the manufacturer confirms the insert is reusable. Do not wear grillz that remain loose, feel sharp, or do not fit securely.
